On Thursday 30th March Ryedale School hosted the Scarborough and Ryedale District netball knock out competition. Since September schools across the district have been playing rounds against each to gain a place at the finals night. Ryedale managed to get three age groups into the final. The year 8’s played Scalby which they won 17-8, the year 9’s played Malton where they won 26-6, the year 10’s also played Malton and won 25-3.
It was a great achievement to get into the finals but then to win all three groups, this was a fantastic result. The girls did exceptionally well and I was immensely proud of them and the result. It was a brilliant end to the netball season.
