Ryedale Year 10 cricket team won the Scarborough and District 6-a-side tournament held at Scarborough College. The competition involved teams from Lady Lumley’s, Scarborough College, George Pindar, Caedmon College and Eskdale. The event involved the teams playing in a league format throughout the day. On Wednesday 14th March Ryedale hosted the year 10 partnership netball tournament. Lady Lumleys, Ryedale and Malton all participated in the tournament. Ryedale A team won all 3 of their matches and therefore became Ryedale & Whitby Netball Partnership champions. The B team came third, overall a great achievement. Well Done Girls!
This week in Food Preparation and Nutrition, Year 10 students have learnt to fillet a haddock from scratch. Students will be using the filleted in upcoming lessons to make fishcakes. What a great skill for our students to have.
