Ryedale School is seeking a Teacher of Singing to work at the school for 3 / 4 days a week on a self-employed basis with a direct contractual relationship between teacher and parent.
You would be joining a busy music department and will support students from Years 7 to 11 in developing a robust singing technique and a love of singing different styles of music appropriate to their voice. Many students take ABRSM exams and you would be expected to prepare students for all aspects of these exams, including aural test and sight-reading elements. Good piano skills are most welcome but not essential.
Based at our school as a Music Teacher, you will have the chance to work with some great students who are keen to develop their singing ability and understanding of music. You can also expect to be part of a team of music professionals, who all share a passion for instilling a love for music within young people.
