AppFurnace GCSE music revision app being built
We are passionate about developing teaching and learning at Ryedale. Each fortnight a different member of staff delivers a teaching and learning briefing where they share a fantastic teaching idea or example of best practice. So far Mr Moxon has taught us how to use Coggle: a brilliant online mind-mapping resource, which works best in Google Chrome. Miss Hazenberg has shown us some new ideas to make learning interactive. Most recently Mrs McGlen showed us AppFurnace which the Performing Arts and Geography departments are already using to produce exciting revision apps! We are looking forward to Mr Hopkins’s session on Thursday where he will be showing us his Art progress bookmarks.
We also have a new teaching and learning board in the staff room where we can share ideas and read about the latest educational research and pedagogy.
