The Year 9’s have joined the Year 10 and 11 in becoming the hockey champions in the Partnership.
On Tuesday the 21 st of January Year 9 took part in a hockey tournament. Against Norton we won 1-0. In this game we played very well as a team and worked together really well. Against Malton we won 3-1. This game was a little harder because they were a stronger team but we worked well and got a couple of goals in the end. It was 1-1 until the 18 th minute and then we scored 2 goals.
Finally, against Lady Lumleys we won 1-0. This game was a challenge for our girls but we worked as hard as we could and tried our absolute best throughout the game. It was 0-0 until the 18th minute and we worked hard those last couple of minutes to get the goal. Overall we won the tournament and remained undefeated.
