On Thursday 24th May Ryedale’s Year 8 A and B rounders team went to Eskdale School for a tournament against the surrounding schools.
Our first game was against each other (Ryedale A&B) and our A team won 13-8. Then we continued to play Lady Lumley’s, Malton and Caedmon College. Winning all three games, 11½-3, 9-6½ and 9.½-3½.
Our final game was against Eskdale and we won again 11½-5½. This made us the winners of the tournament overall, this was an excellent victory for our team, our B team also played well and took home 3rd place.
