The U14 rounders team had their partnership tournament on the 22nd of May. We won all our matches to become the champions ready for the district tournament in June.
The first game was against Ryedale B where we won 11-4½. A great win to start off with amazing batting from Kate and Izzie.
The second match we played Lady Lumleys where we won 10½ – 8½. This was a close match but the girls still managed to pull through with amazing fielding from everyone.
Third game we played Fyling Hall this was a tough match and it was our fielding that pulled us through to win 6½ to 4.
Our last match we played the hardest team Malton. The girls all played fantastically with amazing catches from Kate and Erin which helped us secure our win 9-5½.
Overall I am very proud of all the girls. It was a great way to start the season. A huge well done to everyone who played and thank you to Miss Flintoft for organising the tournament. We are now all looking forward to the district tournament where we hope to win!
