On Tuesday 18th September the Netball A team and B team went to Whitby for the partnership netball tournament.
The A teams first game was against Ryedale B team, which we won 13-0 with some great defending. Our next game was against Caedmon, our shooters Olivia Darrell, GA and Evie Chapman, GS did some great shots seen as they were battling the wind, this lead us to a win of 11-5.
Following that game, we were then up against our rivals Malton, our defence was tight with Georgia Morgan, GD intercepting the high balls with Abbie Cowton, GK. Then passing strong balls to centre court players Molly Saggers and Molly Chapman both WD, Tahlia Higgs, C, Liv Clough and Hannah Ellam both WA, who all managed to ace the channel play and send the balls to the shooters, Olivia Darrell and Evie Chapman, who consistently scored any chance they could. Leading us to a win of 14-7.
Our last game was then against Lady Lumley’s, which we also won 14-7. Once again the girls managed to keep up their techniques throughout all the games and came home titled Partnership Champions!
Well done girls! Smiles all around and a well deserved win.
