I would like to congratulate Ryedale students on achieving a fantastic set of results this year. 82% of the year group achieved a grade 4 (standard pass equivalent to the old ‘C’ grade) or above in English and maths. 61% of the year group achieved a grade 5 (strong pass) or above in English and maths. 34% of all grades achieved were top grades (A*/A or 7/8/9), which is truly exceptional. Students of all abilities have achieved in line with their potential.  This is reflected in our Progress 8 score of 0.88, which is exceptional, and will place Ryedale School within the top 5% of schools in the country.

This cohort has been a lovely year group and a pleasure to teach – they will be greatly missed. I am very proud of the way they have performed throughout their time at Ryedale, as well as during the exam period. I would like to thank students, staff and parents for their hard work in securing such an excellent set of results and I wish every student all the very best for the future.

Domenica Wilkinson
Secondary Director

Our students can feel justifiably proud of their performance and are now able to see the value of their sustained efforts during their time at Ryedale. Equally as impressive as the number of top grades achieved are the results of those students who have worked so hard to achieve their target grades and fulfil their potential.

I would like to wish our students all the very best as they embark upon their chosen Post 16 courses.
