The year 11 hockey team played their last ever tournament on Tuesday evening. They became Ryedale and Whitby Partnership Hockey Champions. They beat Lady Lumleys 6-0, Malton 3-0 and Fyling Hall 3-1. The girls played fantastically the defence was unbreakable and the attack just kept on scoring.
The year 11 girls have been a pleasure to coach over the last 5 years and I will miss them immensely . All the girls are committed to every practise and have all been dedicated to winning. The girls have worked extremely hard to win numerous titles over their time at Ryedale.
They are also through to the final of the district cup where they play Scarborough College on the 14th February and I am hoping for another win to end their fantastic hockey career at Ryedale.
