Today we won the year 10 netball partnership tournament, we entered an A, B and C team. It was a fantastic show of netball and I was extremely proud of all the girls that played. The C team came 6th, B team came 3rd and the A team won. Here’s the report by Eliza Powell the A team captain.

Ryedale entered three teams into the partnership netball tournament, and after an exciting afternoon Ryedale A were unbeaten becoming partnership netball champions, the B team came a close third and the C team played amazingly well.
In the first match Ryedale played Lumley’s, and with excellent shooting from Ellie Crowther and Ruth Aber, they took the lead and won 21-4.
The second match was against Ryedale B, who played really well and fought back extremely hard, but with fast centre court play, Ryedale A secured a 20-2 win.
The third and fourth matches against Ryedale C and Caedmon A secured Ryedale A two wins of 21-0 and 23-1.
The final match was against Caedmon B, and after a slow start, Ryedale picked up the pace of the game and managed to clinch the title with a 22-2 win.
