Radio DJ pays a visit

Ryedale School’s Year 10 and 11 students were lucky enough to have a visit from Radio 1’s DJ Gemma Cairney last Monday morning.

Gemma paid a visit to Ryedale as her tour promoting her new book ‘Open’ got underway. Students were given the opportunity to listen to Gemma speak about her latest book and ask the DJ questions on what inspired her to write. After the talk students were able to ‘hula-hoop’ on her bright-yellow tour bus and have their copies of ‘Open’ signed!
