Match report for Year 8 District Rounders

First game was against Pindar, we beat them 4-0. We were off to a good start, next game was Filey, we beat them 8-2½, great batting from Cally Cussons and Grace Langton-White.

Scarborough College was next; we beat them 4-2. Malton was next, these girls were tricky to beat but we did 4-5½. Eskdale were next, we beat them 4½-2½, some great play from backstop Abby Ryder and 1st post Jasmine Graham.

Then we played LLS, we beat them 5½-3, some great play from 3rd deep Erin Smith. The next team was Scalby, this was the team we needed to beat, unluckily we lost 4-4½ . Next was St Augustines, we beat them 5-3, some fantastic batting from Cara-Beth McCullum.

Then we played Fylinghall, we succsefully beat then 5½-2 with some great batting from Isla Mcclanachan and some fantastic catches from Maggie Ndunda. Our last match was against CCW, we beat them 7½-2, outstanding play from all the girls on the team!
