Year 7 girls become District rounders’ champions

On Tuesday the 20th of June the Year 7 A team for rounders went to the district tournament at St Augustine’s and won all matches. Our first game was against Lady Lumley’s and won 7½ – 3½. Our second game was against St Augustine’s and won 7½ – 4½. Our next game was against Graham and won 8½ – 5½.

Finally, we played Filey and won 8½ – 5. After a very tense 5 minutes the results came out to show that we got into the finals against Scarborough College which we won 8-3. So overall the day was successful and ended with us bring back the trophy.
