It has been a great day seeing so many students get the excellent grades they deserved for their hard work and fantastic attitude to learning. 72% of this year group achieved 5 or more grades at A*-C including English and maths. The English Baccalaureate which requires students to achieve a grade C or above in English Language, maths, two sciences, a humanity subject and a language was achieved by 38% of our students. 27 % of all grades achieved were at A or A*. Special congratulations go to 6 students who achieved an outstanding 9 or more A* and A grades- Thomas Thorn, Rosamund Lawrance, Eliza Dwyer, Guy Harris, Harry Coutts and Dan Potter.

At Ryedale we have very high expectations for our students and work collectively to ensure that, regardless of their ability, every student is challenged and supported to fulfil their potential. We place great emphasis on each individual’s progress and I am very pleased that this approach has clearly paid dividends for this fantastic year group.

I would like to thank students, staff and parents for their hard work in securing such a strong set of results of which we can all be proud. I wish all our students every success for the future.
