Ex-pupil makes the squad list for the Great Britain Cycling Team

Abi Smith, a former Ryedale School pupil, has earnt her place on the Great Britain Cycling team, in the Junior Girls Endurance discipline.

We wish Abi all the success in her upcoming events in Mallorca in December and Holland in January.

Abi isn’t satisfied at leaving her success there and has quoted that:

For 2020 I hope to get a start in the Women’s Tour de Yorkshire as well, and the very, very distant dream is to get to the Olympics – but we’ll just have to wait and see about all of that!’
