At this year’s District Netball tournament, our under 15’s netball team successfully won every match without fail, making us district champions!
Year 10 netball team – District Champions
Match scores varied from a 24-1 victory against Lady Lumley’s, to a much tighter match against rivals Malton, 15-6. Our prominent centre court including Tahlia Higgs, Hannah Ellam, Molly Saggers and Olivia Clough were all consistent with their technique, making the flow of the game much easier to get to our shooters, Evie Chapman and Olivia Darrell, who continuously managed to score whenever they had the opportunity. Defence was very tight too, with the likes of Georgia Morgan, Molly Chapman and Abbie Cowton making great interceptions and putting pressure on the opponents in the D.
Our team spirit throughout was high and in the end, we performed at our best and deserved the title of district winners!
