At this year’s District Netball Tournament the Ryedale under 12’s team didn’t disappoint by winning the trophy back again.
The tournament got off to a good start after beating a skilful Malton team 4-1 with very strong defending and attacking throughout the game. After this great start we enjoyed a second win against Eskdale, 11-0. Then we played a tight match against Scalby, holding on to beat them 3-2. We then played Lady Lumley’s, St Augustine’s, Scarborough College, Pindar, Cademen College beating them all with some varied scores.
Our last game was against Norton who we beat 10-0 making us U12’s District Netball champions!
