Ryedale School Certificate Evening 2016

On Thursday 24th November, Ryedale School welcomed back its former Year 11 students to celebrate their fantastic achievements at GCSE in the summer. This cohort achieved an incredible Progress 8 score of 0.43 which places Ryedale School in the top 7% of schools in the country – well done the class of 2016! The evening included an address from former Head Boy Jack Stott and former Head Girl Grace Walker and entertainment from talented musician Lizzie Dore.

71% of students achieved C grades in English and maths, and 28% of every exam paper taken was graded at an A* / A; a tremendous achievement and testimony to the cohorts’ dedication and hard work. Most importantly, students of all abilities achieved success and their individual achievements were recognised on this fantastic evening, attended by students, parents and staff.
