On Wednesday 10th October 2018, Ryedale School students demonstrated their support for Young Minds, a mental health charity, by engaging in a whole school non-uniform day. Students wore yellow and raised a grand total of £664.02.
Young Minds are aiming for a future where all young people are supported and empowered, whatever their challenges. They aim to make sure young people get the best possible mental health support and have the resilience to overcome life’s difficulties.
The crisis in children and young people’s mental health is real and it is urgent. More children and young people than ever before are reaching out for help with their mental health. But for those who take that brave step, help is much too hard to find.
Young Minds are fighting to change this. They are fighting for young people’s mental health. We are pleased to have joined their fight in helping to support all young people.
