The year 8, 9 & 10 netball teams have all been playing in the Scarborough and Ryedale District knock out cup since September they have played three preliminary rounds a semi final and then the final which took place at Ryedale tonight.
Results were:
Year 8
Ryedale V’s Lady Lumleys (Ryedale won 18-8)
Year 9
Ryedale V’s Scalby (Ryedale won 30-10)
Year 10
Ryedale V’s Lady Lumleys (Ryedale won 36-7)
All three teams played fantastically and they were a real credit to the school. Winning the three finals showed how hard the girls have worked all year by attending practise weekly and constantly trying to improve performance.
A fantastic end to a great netball season.
