Green Welly Club sweet success

Pupils have been making Ryedale apple juice this week as part of Green Welly Club. The apples were collected from the community garden, washed, chopped and then pressed. They managed to make about 6 litres of delicious juice during lunchtime which they all took home to share. They were all really impressed with the quality and taste.

Thanks to Miss Wallis for helping out, Mr Jenkins for the loan of the apple press, some Y10 helpers who came along and, of course, the Green Welly Club!
