Congratulations to Rosie Macklam (Year 7) and Conor Lally (Year 8) who are the winners of the Awful Auntie letter writing competition. Mrs Linsley, Librarian, had two copies of the book to give away to pupils who wrote the best letters to her explaining why they would like to read the book.
Awful Auntie is David Walliams’ latest book. His books are extremely popular in the library and Mrs Linsley received a large number of letters. The good news for disappointed David Walliams’ fans is that there are now three copies of Awful Auntie in the library.
There will be more new books to be won this half term. Keep a look out in the library.
