Bewerley Park Outdoor Pursuits for year 8 students
Year 8 pupils are given an exciting opportunity to go to Bewerley Park for a week’s residential course. The course takes place during term time and it is expected all pupils take part. Bewerley Park is located in the heart of the Yorkshire dales and offers high quality outdoor education by using ‘real’ outdoor environments. During the week they take part in a range of activities such as, rock climbing, abseiling, gorge walking, canoeing and team building exercises. On the course pupils are encouraged to develop their personal, social and emotional skills and by asking them to take responsibility for their own decisions it allows them to achieve and recognise their full potential. See report on last year’s trip.
