Year 9 Rugby Team

Ryedale vs Eskdale

Ryedale won 75-0 which was a brilliant victory for the first match of the season for some lads. Lewis Garbutt making some great runs over the white wash and Jacob Head (new boy) showing his strength to put extra points on the board.

Ryedale vs Filey

Ryedale won 58-0. The tries were flooding in by Raife, Jacob, Ollie, Jake and Lewis. Lewis was moved to scrum half with 5 minutes to go and immediately put points on the board.

Ryedale vs Graham

Ryedale won 38-0 but were tested because of the size of Graham’s players but George Stead put in some crunching tackles.

Ryedale vs Lumley’s

Ryedale won 40-7. A brilliant match but we learnt one mistake can cost 7 points ( the only mistake in the tournament Ryedale made). Jacob an ex Lumley star contributed to some good tries. Joe Edwards made some brilliant tackles and good running lines to make a lot of ground which made tries.
