On Wednesday 13th May the Year 8 girls went to a partnership rounders tournament at Eskdale School. We played 4 matches which were against Lady Lumley’s, Malton, Eskdale and Ryedale B team.
I would just like to say a very well done to Morwenna Talling, Verity Fullerton-Smith, Abi Smith, Casey Johnson, Hazel Williamson, Issy Hurst, Lily Williamson, Olivia Woodhead, Amy Hayhurst and finally Lucy Walker.
The girls went into the first match against Lady Lumley’s in high spirits and managed to keep them up throughout the match going on to win. Malton proved to be a tough game but they persevered and just beat them. They then went on to play their own B team who put up a great fight but unfortunately lost in the end. The last match was against Eskdale School and the team went on to win this too. So after 4 matches played and 4 matches won Ryedale A team went on to win the whole tournament.
