The Year 8 partnership netball tournament was held on 7th of March 2017 at Malton School. We were lucky to have calm weather on a day when we won all 7 matches.
Our hardest competitors were Malton A, who played extremely well however our brilliant defence (WD/GD) Erin Smith, Isla Mcclanachan and Abby Ryder helped ensure a win for us winning 11-5. Our B team also made us work hard with the result of 7-3 to Ryedale A!
Another superb game for us was our first game against Lady Lumley’s School with the result of 20-3 to us. Our shooters (GA/GS) Jasmine Graham and Izzie Mayfield, shot extremely well as you can see by the result.
Another great win for us was against Norton School with a victory of 19-2! Our play down the court was smooth and not rushed with great work by (WA) Georgie Eve and Fran Cuming.
A great day for all and not forgetting about the B team, they did exceptionally well coming fourth in the tournament.
