To start with, Ryedale played Caedmon College, with great play from everybody, resulting in a score of 19-2. This was also our biggest win! After this we went on to play Scarborough College, where the good play continued, winning again, 11-1. Afterwards, it was a close match with Lady Lumleys but we managed to pull through to win 9-3, with accurate shooting when we needed it. This ensured we continued playing in the semi-final where we were faced with Malton who we also defeated 6-0, with tight defending.

This lead to our fifth and final match against Saint Augustine’s ending in an 8-4 win, and making sure we kept the District Trophy. Overall, we scored 53 goals as well as being unbeaten. It was a very well-earned result by the whole team.
