Ryedale School Year 8 basketball team won the North Yorkshire County championship held at York College. The team qualified for the event after winning the Scarborough and district Tournament at George Pindar School, Scarborough. At the York event the team beat St Aidens, Harrogate 19-12. All Saints, York 33-12 and Bootham school, York 33-7.
