On Tuesday 22nd of November Ryedale Year 7 netball teams travelled to Lady Lumley’s School to compete in the Area Tournament.
The A teams first match was against Ryedale C team, with the A team winning 13-0. The second match was against Lady Lumley School; we won 12-0 with some lovely play. Next we played Caedmon College, Whitby winning 16-1 thanks to good attacking. Malton was our next match, which we won 2-1 which we wouldn’t have won without our brilliant defence. Finally, we played our B team which was a great, competitive match with the final score 3-1 to the A team.
All teams did brilliantly – the C team came 6th, the B then came 3rd and the A team won the competition.
