Year 10 win Scarborough and District cricket competition

The Ryedale year 10 cricket team have won the Scarborough and District 6 a side cricket competition held at Malton cricket club.

Ryedale beat Lady Lumleys, Scalby and Eskdale in the qualifying rounds before playing George Pindar School, Scarborough in the final.

In the final, Ryedale batted first and scored 47 in their 5 overs. George Pindar completed their innings on 32. Captain Dan Ward received the trophy from competition organiser Martin Jackson. Toby Higgs won the player of the tournament award for Ryedale.
