Throughout the last few weeks the School Council’s Culture Committee have been working hard with Mr Hopkins on communications with our cultural link school in Bradford.
The committee members have researched British values and created an assembly which they have delivered to students at Ryedale School this week.
The assemblies have raised students awareness of the British values which are:
- democracy.
- the rule of law.
- individual liberty.
- mutual respect for and tolerance of those with different faiths and beliefs and for those without faith.
Ryedale School is a partner in and co-ordinator for the Yorkshire Teaching School Alliance.
