Ski Trip 2018

Ryedale School Ski Trip – Alpe D’ Huez, France. Clubhotel, Belle Aurore.

Saturday 31st March

Meet at school at 06.45, travel by coach to the airport.
Flight from Leeds Bradford Airport (Flight LS233 to Grenoble) departs at 11.10

Stay in Clubhotel, Belle Aurore, full board for seven nights.

Saturday 7th April

Return to Leeds Bradford Airport (Flight LS234 arriving in Leeds at 16.20)

Arrive back at Ryedale School at 18.45

(Exact time of arrival back at Ryedale School will be given to pupils when we depart from Leeds Bradford airport)

Basic break down of the day

• First morning pupils will be fitted with all the equipment. Inclusive in the price, skis, boots, poles, helmet.
• Breakfast
• 2 hours skiing lessons
• Lunch
• 2 hours skiing lessons
• Evening meal
• Evening entertainment
• Bed

Baggage

• Main baggage allowance – 20kg (additional charge of £10 per kilo)
• Hand luggage – 10kg

Insurance

• Full insurance included in the price of the holiday. (Insurance policy 2018 – details.) The ski company must be made aware of any change in circumstances of any passenger or immediate family which may affect their policy.
• Pupils will also need to carry a European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) – these can be obtained free at www.ehic.org.uk

Behaviour

• Exceptional behaviour at all times
• Pupils to be punctual
• No smoking, alcohol, drugs
• No access to other pupils’ bedrooms at any time
• Extreme circumstances, Tour Operator reserves the right to terminate the holiday of the person involved
• Any damage or loss of equipment will be liable to the pupil

• Passport – must be valid 6 months from trip return date (will be held by school staff for security)
