Ryedale School Invited as Guest Speakers to Showcase Provision in Careers

In October 2018, Miss Wallis attended a Careers Hub Meeting at the Marriott Hotel in York. It was at this conference that Miss Wallis decided she was going to spend the academic year working towards The Quality in Careers Standard, which was kindly funded by Prospects. As you will already know, we were successful in receiving the award and between Miss Wallis and Mr Pepper have developed a highly successful careers programme at Ryedale School.

We are very proud to have been invited back to the Careers Hub Meeting this year as guest speakers, where Miss Wallis and Mr Pepper will demonstrate to other schools how we achieved the award, what our provision looks like and how we are confident that we meet the expectations of the Gatsby Benchmarks.

We think this is a great achievement for the school and are proud to be attending the event having successfully developed an excellent careers programme at school, which we know benefits our students and their futures enormously.
