Jenny Green reports on how her Ryedale netball stars fared in the local ladies netball league which is held every week at Malton Community Sports Centre on a Thursday evening.
The team “Ryedale School Girls” were made up of year 10 and 11 pupils. They played 7 matches against a range of local ladies teams. The girls were unbeatable and victorious in every match, therefore becoming the overall winners. Each match was challenging and pushed all the girl’s abilities.
This is a fantastic achievement and I am extremely proud of the girls as many of the players they were up against were much more experienced.
