We arrived at Gaya Island and it is paradise! No time to waste though we got stuck straight in with the PADI course. The team members taking part in the training were out diving before the end of the day followed by some serious studying in the evening, and they thought they’d left the revision at home!
On to the second day now and the training continues with team members working on PADI skills in a contained dive polishing their new skills ready for the open water dive tomorrow!
Non-divers have been snorkelling today over the reef but didn’t get out of the studying as they were treated to an in depth reef awareness course. Tomorrow those not diving have planned a jungle trek to see more of the local wildlife.
