Year 10 Work Experience/Careers Launch Evening
On Thursday 28th September year 10 students and their parents attended an evening of work experience information as well as careers and post-16 guidance at Ryedale School.

The evening began with talks from Miss Wallis, Mr Pepper and staff from NYBEP. Students and parents then visited a well organised careers/post-16 careers fair, which was set out in the Studio and Dining room. The fair was well attended by post-16 providers, including a range of State and Independent Sixth Forms and Colleges, Apprenticeship providers, Universities, North Yorkshire Police as well as the Armed Forces.

We hope that the evening has inspired students with regards to the organisation of their work experience visits, as well as leading them in the correct direction towards their post-16 choices.
